How PartWork AI Works

Every operation in PartWork AI is powered by AI. You have two ways to work:

Use familiar tools like Sketch, Extrude, Fillet, and Hole. The tools automatically generate AI prompts — you just use the interface.

Type what you want in plain English. Great for complex requests or when you want to describe the end result.

Both approaches use the same AI engine. Tools are convenient for common operations; natural language is powerful for anything you can describe.

Let's create a simple mounting bracket. We'll show both approaches.

Go to studio.partwork.ai and sign in or continue as a guest.

Draw a rectangle 3" x 2". The sketch tool lets you draw profiles that will become 3D shapes.

Select your sketch and extrude it 0.25". You now have a 3D plate.

Add two 0.25" holes near the corners. Click to place them on the top face.

Select edges and apply 0.125" fillets to round them.

Or just type this in the chat:

Whether using tools or text, exact dimensions give exact results. Include units (inches, mm).
