Create smooth transitions between two different shapes

Overview

The Loft tool creates 3D shapes that transition smoothly between two profiles at different heights. Use for tapered shapes, funnels, transitions between shapes, or any form that changes cross-section. Available through natural language only.

Parameters

How to Use

Describe the transition

Tell the AI what shapes you want to transition between.

Specify both profiles

Include dimensions for both the start and end shapes.

Set the height

Specify how tall the transition should be.

Natural Language Alternatives

Instead of using the tool, you can type these commands:

Create a funnel from 3 inch circle to 1 inch circle, 4 inches tall
Loft from a 2 inch square to a 1 inch circle over 3 inches
Make a tapered adapter from rectangle to circle
Create a pyramid by lofting from 2 inch square to a point

Tips

Loft can transition between different shape types (square to circle)
Use for funnels, adapters, and tapered enclosures
End with a very small shape to create a pointed tip
