Hollow out a part with uniform wall thickness

Overview
The Shell tool removes material from inside a solid part, leaving walls of uniform thickness. Select faces to remove (creating openings), then specify the wall thickness.

How to Use

Click faces to remove (optional)
Click faces that should become openings. Shift+click for multiple.

Set wall thickness
Enter the desired wall thickness or select a standard size.

Apply
Click Apply or press Enter to shell the part.

Tips
- Select faces before shelling to create openings
- Wall thickness must be less than half the smallest dimension
- Shell works best on simple, convex shapes
